A Year in Six Minutes

What’s it like to squeeze a year’s worth of blood, sweat, and tears of trying to make the world a better place…into a six minute pitch? It’s called the Hult Prize, and here’s a taste of what it’s like. So proud to be able to tell their story and be a part of the family.

This film documents the process from the challenge announcement to the winning team being awarded $1M at the U.N. It’s been quite a journey for the ISSIMO team this year. It’s taken us to a dozen+ countries where we’ve interacted with hundreds of student social entrepreneurs who care enough and are smart enough to make the world a better place.

Hats off to the 100,000+ college students who dedicated so much to craft and refine and reboot business plans to solve a global problem in a sustainable way. Not to mention the 10,000+ volunteers who make it all possible and the visionary leadership of Ahmad Ashkar, Karim Samra, Sheryl Chamberlain, Jamal Khayyat etc.

We feel like we’ve been on a similar journey with them. It’s literally taken us around the world. We’ve made some amazing new friends. The entire experience has bolstered our faith in the good we can do as brothers and sisters on this earth together.
